Caring For People

Caring For People is a heartfelt program started by DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen that allows our team members to give back to the community. We believe in making a positive impact, and this program empowers our team to take the initiative in finding and supporting local causes that matter.

Our team members are encouraged to look for causes in the community that they are passionate about. Whether it's supporting a local charity, helping out at a community event, or providing assistance to those in need, we want our team to be proactive in identifying where help is needed.

Once a cause is identified, our team members make the necessary connections. They reach out to organizations, community leaders, or individuals to see how DreamMaker can contribute. This might include volunteering time, providing resources, or offering our services to improve community spaces. Here are some examples of our recent efforts:

• Building a new kitchen for the Girl Scouts-Heart of Michigan office
• Sorting produce at Food Gatherers
• Sponsoring the Compassionate Feast at Huron Valley Humane Society
• Sponsoring local sports fundraiser events as requested by our employees
• Sponsoring the Red Shoe Affair at the local Ronald McDonald House
• Sponsoring the Huron Valley Girl Scout Cookie Bake-off fundraiser
• Offering auction items to Ele’s Place, local school fundraiser events, and the Purple Rose Theatre
• Donating time and items to Alpha House
• Donating to Ann Arbor's 107.1 and Rockin' for the Hungry

Through Caring For People, DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen is not just improving homes but also enriching lives in South Lyon, Ann Arbor, and the surrounding areas. Our team members take pride in their ability to make meaningful contributions, and we are committed to supporting their efforts every step of the way.
